02/04--Principal of American Eagle Assets Management Joins Back Bay Financial Group
Back Bay Financial Group (BBFG), 437 Boylston Street, Boston, and 607 North Avenue, Wakefield, has announced the addition of Francis B. Sellers, former Principal of American Eagle Assets Management, Inc., a fee only financial planning firm located in South Yarmouth, MA.
Sellers brings to BBFG extensive experience, including his Certified Financial PlannerTM designation, broad investment background, and membership in the Financial Planning Association. A resident of South Yarmouth, MA., Sellers will manage the BBFG’s Cape Cod office, service his existing clients from that location and provide financial planning and investment advisory services for new clients.
In addition to his success as a single business owner, Sellers was an officer for more than 10 years of his 35 years of employment, at a Waltham-based industrial instrument and design manufacturing firm, which produced instrumentation for solar satellites. He holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics and Mathematics from Kansas University.
As an initiator and trustee of the company’s retirement plan, he was responsible for the selection of all investments for the plan, including analysis of investment performance and appropriateness for plan participants.
“My background is a mix of mathematics and scientific analysis, skills that are compatible with the type of thinking needed in financial planning. This is a excellent opportunity for me and for my clients,” said Sellers. “With 10 years experience as a business owner and my extensive background in financial planning, I can continue to provide expertise to the clients I have been working with throughout the years and to new clients. Both groups will benefit from the comprehensive services of BBFG.”
“Francis’ background in all areas of financial planning, his skill in assessing and developing client portfolios and his acute analytical capabilities in mathematics and investments are certainly an asset for Back Bay Financial Group,” said John LeBlanc, CFP®, co-owner and founder of BBFG.
Co-owner and founder of BBFG Robert Siefert, CFP, added,” Francis has an extraordinary career history in business and financial planning. He received an Outstanding Faculty Award from Northeastern University for his work as an adjunct staff instructor of the Investment Planning course for Certified Financial Planner Program. His clients speak highly of him, and we are pleased to have him join our team.”
Back Bay Financial Group is a fee-only financial planning investment advisory and wealth management firm with over $95 Million in assets under management.
