Press Release
Siefert Selected as One of Mutual Fund Magazine’s Top 100 Advisors
Robert D. Siefert, CFP®, of North Reading, Mass., was recently named one of the 100 top advisors in the nation by the national publication Mutual Fund Magazine in the September 2002 issue. Five financial planners from Massachusetts were recognized. Editors of the magazine researched candidates through fund managers, attorneys, the SEC, NASD and CFP® Board.
Siefert is principal and co-founder of Back Bay Financial Group with offices in Boston and Wakefield, Massachusetts. The magazine cited his “personalized care and taking time to make sure clients understand” as highlights of his approach. They listed portfolio design and distribution strategies as two of his fortes.
“This listing is a group win, in my estimation,” said Siefert. “None of us work in isolation, and Back Bay Financial Group has a solid team with professional expertise starting with my partner John LeBlanc, who co-founded the five-year company with me.”
Siefert has been called upon for perspective by local and trade publications and published in the Los Angeles Times, the Des Moines Register, the American Association of Individual Investors and the Advisor Network. He is a member of the National Association of Tax Practitioners, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and the Boston Estate Planning Council.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Holy Cross College and a Master of Business Administration from Boston College.
Back Bay Financial Group, with more than $60 million in assets under management, is one of New England’s leading fee-only financial planning, investment advisory and wealth management firms.
